  • Brett is probably about 26 or 27 in this video, which Im suspecting was filmed not too long after he finished his conducting studies at the University of Texas at Austin. He does look much younger in this video!

  • @wanzenettl Haha well it is at the Manhattan School of Music, which is a college. This might even be the precollege program. Not sure though.

  • this is weird but i conduct just like him!!!

  • Just re-ran across this video today, and years later I'm still impressed at the character each gesture brings out. Your use of micro movements in an overall macro shape (particularly at the ends of phrases) is marvelous and gets a beautiful sound from the orchestra. Bravo.

  • The conductor isn't the only one who is young, look at the orchestra! They're all just kids! WOW! This is a FANTASTIC performance, by ANY standard! Congratulations.

  • Very nice!

  • very young conductor! how old is he??

  • Nice...

  • It actually sounds really good. Not too much or too little of anything.

  • NIce and AMAZIN.. i'm just 13.. if pplz wonder..
