The finale of Mozart's Symphony No. 40, performed by Brett Mitchell and the Manhattan School of Music Orchestra on 27 January 2006, the 250th annivesary of Mozart's birth.
Brett is probably about 26 or 27 in this video, which Im suspecting was filmed not too long after he finished his conducting studies at the University of Texas at Austin. He does look much younger in this video!
Just re-ran across this video today, and years later I'm still impressed at the character each gesture brings out. Your use of micro movements in an overall macro shape (particularly at the ends of phrases) is marvelous and gets a beautiful sound from the orchestra. Bravo.
The conductor isn't the only one who is young, look at the orchestra! They're all just kids! WOW! This is a FANTASTIC performance, by ANY standard! Congratulations.

@wanzenettl Haha well it is at the Manhattan School of Music, which is a college. This might even be the precollege program. Not sure though.
