Hartenstine VS Krecker Illegal Headlock

Just a chort clip of the move that ended the match. Krecker of Nazareth hitting a version of the "Cement Mixer". This has been disptued as an illegal move. In reexamination it has been found to be illegal. at the time you can see the assistant referee (tall gentleman)approach the head referee (short gentleman) and ask if the move was legal. The "head ref" replies it was absolutley legal. Note that it can be seen that 3 coaches from the Easton side immediately see it as illegal and express that. This caused a loss for Hartenstine, a loss for Easton, a loss at the chance to qualify for the State team tounament.

The wrestler in this video did not make the claim of an illegal move. He is too good a sportsman for that. The coaches called it illegal. One of the refs in the match felt it illegal at the time but was overruled. The referees later upon review also determined it to be illegal. This video has since been used in training and teaching refs what to look for. no question remains as to the illegality of the move. It happened. It should serve as a lesson.

Perhaps others have found the D11 forum is run by someone with their own agenda. They may also have found he does not allow postings that do not agree with his friends or goalsas well as his integrity has been found to be lacking. This site is independant and aside from my removing posts which are just blatentley insulting without benefit or decency, I leave them alone. We wish to promote and improve the sport of wrestling for the youth and to their benefit.

Yea was def illegal... he had no arm, and it was across the neck, not chin... it wasnt til after he turned him that he let go and threw in the underhook...
