I'm a breast cancer patient going through chemo and now losing my hair ~ very, very hard to endure the pain from being sick from chemo. . . this song makes me cry. It's so difficult to stay positive and not give up, give in to the pain. This song reminds me that once I was beautiful too,

@BEAUTIFULME84 I agree with you about this song. I started first grade with being called a "Dog" by all the kids in my class. And then it did not help to be violated by a stanger around the time I was ten. Ever since then, I have been fat and ugly so I will never be beautiful to me or anyone else. The weight became a wall that I put up to keep guys away. And it worked too. When I saw Nichole in this video I thought, Wow! she is so beautiful. She must have beautiful children too.

Even as a 20 something male, I adore this song for its message. Though outer beauty isn't typically the foremost concern on many men's minds, inner beauty is genderless and something I desire to offer my Savior more of every day. I'm fine with my feminine side and so is my God. If Jesus wasn't a brutish alpha male, neither do His sons have to be.

I'm 17. I grew up with VeggieTales, but I don't watch them very often any more. However, I can watch Snoodlerella a thousand times and not be tired of it, and I don't care who knows it. It touches me somewhere deep to hear these words. Listen to Mercy Me's "Beautiful", this song, and then JJ Heller's "What Love Really Means". Better than chocolate.

I LOVE this song....I cry everytime I hear it!!! I have an eating disorder and it helps me to make sense of things sometimes when Im having a hard time sorting through my feelings!! Every woman should hear this, it really puts things into a different perspective!!
