  • fucking American, he doesn't knoy...

When they come and start shitting on us,

    I start shooting.

...and we Inuit know how to hunt very well

  • Cato dude: "no net global warming in the past ten years"

    1. it's untrue (2007 is 2nd warmest year on record)

    2. all the yearly global temperature records of the past 150 years are in the past 10 to 15 years.

  • Rush and all i get is the timpani from In the Evening. meh

  • If Rev. Lovejoy from the Simpsons wanted to suck the juice from dead baby corpses and use it for fuel.

    The Cato Institute is batshit.

  • The American guy sounds like Rev. Lovejoy from the Simpsons.

  • There currently is no certainty of the extent of petroleum under the arctic sea. What is found to be there will take some time to be brought into production, rigs are in short supply and deep sea drilling is fiddly, to say the least. Arctic oil might offset some future decline, but given the time involved, is unlikely to result in an increase in production over today.

If there is significant oil, can the world afford the carbon dioxide, and if it cannot, will it do anything about it?
