Sandwich Sushi! A fun and healthy lunch for all especially your kids.
Tortilla Shell, whole wheat preferred (You can also use regular sandwich bread)
Olive Oil Mayo (heart healthy and low cal/ low fat)
Honey Mustard
All Natural-low sodium turkey
Naturally slender American cheese (swiss or provolone works well too)
Cucumber
Carrot
First Chef Angela spreads our heart healthy olive oil mayo on one side of the tortilla roll. it acts as our glue in our sushi. She also adds honey mustard for color and flavor. next we place our turkey and cheese into the tortilla. To brighten up our sandwich sushi, Chef Angela grates cucumber and carrot right into the middle of the tortilla.
Chef Angela rolls the tortilla and cuts into five pieces. You can also trim the ends of the roll to keep it looking clean and fresh.
For slices of bread, make sure you flatten each slice before adding the ingredients. it makes it easier to roll.
For added fun, put the condiments out on the side for extra dipping!
