On January 31, 2009, when Vetsville Cease Fire House hosted a tribute luncheon honoring HUGH O'BRIAN. The event, held at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Palm Beach, Florida, was preceded by a reception and a silent auction.
HUGH O'BRIAN starred in TV's Wyatt Earp and Search, as well as numerous theatrical films including The Shootist with John Wayne, and the smash comedy hit Twins with Arnold Schwarzenegger. In addition to being a talented actor and stage performer, Hugh is also a great humanitarian and former United States Marine.
Proceeds from this event went to fund Chris Noel's Vetsville Cease Fire House shelter for homeless American military veterans. Thanks to everyone for making this event such a fabulous success!
Yes, that clip from In HARM'S WAY is great. I really love the he-man and shapely women of that time. I think they really nailed it then in the sixites. Ever since, the art is far less.
