Hybrid rocket motor static test, using tapered concrete insert nozzle. Also the first test of our actual oxidizer tank and valve. Test went well, though we will be drilling out the valve a little to allow for a fast O2 dump, and more thrust over a shorter period of time. This run was about 9 seconds so we will be increasing the hole 3x to bring it hopefully closer to about 3 seconds. Oxygen pressure 2000PSI, no nozzle 'holder' damage, though the insert was badly eroded by the ejected fuel.
Haven't you guys pulled off all the super sonic/sub sonic calculations? It looks like your nozzle is not properly designed... Anyways, I'm worried to see people having trouble because I wanted to build this but it looks like it's harder than I thought.

It's really not that difficult. You can make it happen with simple tools and a basic metal lathe.

hmm.. does concrete nozzle hold all the pressure well?

Not really, it just deteriorated. Graphite is the clear choice for nozzles.
