I spent 5years in the Marines and gained 60lbs after i got wounded... I thought i would never get back in shape and kept getting deeper and deeper in a hole. When the docs said i was good to start working out again i started p90x only to do 15-20% of it! That was a year ago and now I have my six pack back and doing one arm push-ups! All thanks to this guy! Now the only thing i get self conscious about are some scares... i can live with that! Great post!

"clear your mind and focus on what's important, the task at hand." Tony Horton is the man.

@opplus1 There was about $200 worth of equipment to buy when I got started on P90X, but its well worth it. I've saved thousands on gym membership fees since I purchased it a few years ago.

@simus69 great job! bring it ! i myself had to do ALOT of work. at 16 i weighed 194lbs (5'8"). i didn't realize how big i was till i stepped on a scale, thats when it hit me. i started p90x and man was it hard, but i still pushed through it. I am 2x P90x grad and i feel great!! by the time i was done i weighed in at 145 lbs. everyone asked how i did it when i came back to school after summer break (starting senior year), all i said was P90X :) i feel so much confident now. thanks Tony :)

@superfreshjeff07 hahahahaha

@shockem22 It sounds like you're too mentally weak and pathetic to get through even one workout. For those of us with fortitude, p90x is as solid of a program as they come.

I cant count calories either! This helped ALOT!!!
Tony Horton changed my life... reguardless the fact that I'm young, at the age of 15 years old I was sitting at 230 lbs... At the age of 16, I lost a bit of weight and got to 210. I'm 17 now, 5 months ago I started p90x. I went from 200lbs to 165lbs and I'm still pressing play everyday. Even though sometimes I just go nuts on unhealthy foods and sometimes I do skip workouts... But the next day, I bring it again.

looking to start with the "10 min trainer" program, just for starters and then in time I look forward to the more advance workouts. This guy seems like he really cares about the general health of people and not just out to sell a buck ( though I know he has made tons of money ) if folks fell you have their best at heart then we will support you as well. wish me luck in my endeavor (for the umpteenth time ) to loose this other person that I've gained over the years. Thanx for the upload.

I was wondering ..... Do you need to buy any extra stuff in advance before you start the program?? like weights and stuff?? because it's already pretty expensive

@opplus1 P90X does require some weights or resistance bands and a pull up bar.
