That last jump ended in an "Oh, no!" moment. Poor picture was just doing its thing.... I like the explosion sound effect to go with it. That's one feisty boy you have there!

No, they're too much like house cats for me. I've got a large room being converted into a suitable habitat, with a doggy-style door leading to a huge enclosed outdoor area. It's already been tiled for easy cleaning. I was more concerned about how much damage they would cause so I could pick suitable toys/climbing things/hides.

I'm planning on getting a Serval sometime within the next year or two. I hear they're pretty destructive though. Any comments on that?

They are extremely destructive. He has destroyed several doors, pieces of furniture, mattresses. They have very poor litterbox habits and must be on hardwood floors or, better yet, tile. I have had 3 servals and they chew on everything. You have to be extremely careful what they can reach because they will ingest about everythin which can lead to surgery to remove what they have eaten. I do not recommend them for pets. You are better off with a bengal or savannah for the exotic look.
