Just a practice session on the upright bass, trying to learn some new riffs. Bass has weed whacker strings on it and they are flimsy to say the least. My website is http://members.tripod.com/timothyratliff/ My music website is http://www.reverbnation.com/timratliff

  • Nice, man! I've had this stuck in my head ever since I watched this. Keep playing! By the way, how long have you been playing the double bass?

  • @mommaman12 I been playing double bass like about a year,I don't practice much because I play guitar most of the time.

  • @stretchstring i play a lot of guitar, thinking about getting a stand up to be able to play at our bluegrass jams when no one shows up for bass, how is the transition?

  • @tomwallace10856 There will be certain factors that will take some getting use to. I painted small dots in white along the side of the neck to mark the areas where frets would be,if the bass were fretted. This helps alot, other than this it just feels like a big guitar.
