It's PitBulls which can be bad.
I grew up with Staffy called Jay, he died in 1998 but he protected me when I was young from what my parents said.
Then my other dog Poppy I got in 1998 was a Patterdale she died last month of Cancer, but she had a great life as did Jay, I'm sure Poppy the Staffy will have a great life too, she's settled in really well, although still teaching her not to nip, but that's puppys for you I guess.

these dogs get a lot of bad press ,they are a good dog once there owner treats them right ,but always with any breed dont leave dogs alone with kids as flick of a switch is all it takes ,but am sure you know this anyway, but i wish you many happy days with your new family member be kind and remember a dog is for life be kind and respect all there needs and of course plenty of walks ,i have a border collie and i love her with all me heart nice upload goodluck and be good
