  • Hi,

I have the Triumph Tiger 1050 which I think had the same projector type headlights as your bike. I had to upgrade stock lights(H7&H9) to HID 4300k because they were so bad (particularly full beam). I was wondering if the Daytona 675 stock set-up as bad as the Tiger 1050?

  • @markjrobbins the daytona set wasn't particularly bad , as much as it wasn't the right color for the set up i was trying to go for . however i did switch them out when i first got the daytona with some hyper white ones first before i went to the hid's so i guess they might have been a little dim on the low beams . but my high beam has never given me any problems it lights up everything. thanks for the comment .

  • @markjrobbins I will do another recording of my new ones with a better camera when i put my battery back in and see the difference

  • Is it bright enough during the day?

  • @JLozdrummin thanks for the comment . Uhm so the hid kit i got from ebay yes . And now i have a different one from ebay called a slim hid kit .

It looks / fits better cost like 50 or 60 . and i got one step above i think it was 12k .

Still hyper white and viz-ability seems to have increased . and it looks a little more blue but still has a great white look on the actual road. Hey thanks for watching !

  • @JLozdrummin also ive had no problem with cops or anything in the dayttime riding .

  • looks awesome. did you get it from top rated seller ebay? I'm interested in the 10K on the ad said 10k-15k deep blue I thought might not be as bright. its' for $37.99 from California. Is it alot deeper blue in person? can't tell in video. I want to make sure it's not too deep that it's dark. Does it have a hint of white with blue or it's all blue?

  • Sorry took so long to get back , But no i didn't have to bake it or even remove the headlamp assembly , it just those screws on the back side of the light to change the bulb , and the hid's replace your existing bulbs and the wiring that comes with the hid kit is long enough to hide inside the opposite fairing. Pretty simple and straight forward swap out . Thank for the thumbs up. lol . Also the new lights look so much brighter at night , i never change out my mirrored tinted visor on my helm

  • Did you have to remove the clear plastic in the front by putting this thing in the oven? I've got a 675 and I was thinking of installing HIDs but I have my doubts about baking the headlight assembly.
