For the people that didn't know. The guiro is a native Taino indian instrument from my island of Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic. We both share the same ancestry along with Cubans.

well the name like you know is gancho, but i can tell you a couple of brands, like you can ask for a Gancho of Blanco Guira or a Gancho from Guillermo guira those are nice. you play guira? ... send me a message when you coming, maybe well get to hang out in the ISLAND.
