Is all about determination, passion and i like it very much...i was one a competitor too...i understand the feeling of being a substitute....but anyway, if you still remain the fighting spirit within you, there`s nothing can beat down you..is you the one who bring out the glorious spirit towards the world.just remember that for sure...

why wasnt she picked for the team was it cz she was injured? it seems like they dont pick her for many world events...i dont know y i think shes a great gymnast and adds to the dynamic...shes alot stronger than most chinese gymnasts

and she normally rides the bus with her teammates so she can spend every possible minute with them. on the last day, after she found out for sure she was not competing, her teammates text her saying, "Ning jie, where were you today?"

and she was the only one left in the gymnasium while everyone else was "in town." she had hope for getting picked and trained to the last day.

the day of the competition she goes to train but gets there and decides the chinese equivalent of "whatever."

the short bus ride feels like forever

Oh just stuff about how she participated in worlds in 06 and 07. and then she was an alternate but none of the team got injured... then when the bus was leaving to take them to the olympic village without her, they were really happy and she tried really hard not to cry and the Liu coach said something like, "Old He, you're so strong, you're not allowed to cry"(I can't translate it very well), and she laughs but at the same time it upsets her, and she goes back to her room to cry.
