BMW 7 Series & Rolls Royce Parking Brake Actuator Gear Repair How To

BMW 7 Series 2002-2008 and Rolls Royce Phantom 2003-current use an electronic parking brake actuator. The unit goes through a self-test periodically so even if you do not activate the parking brakes your gears can still be broken. In the video the unit is out of the vehicle but can be repaired without removing the unit from the vehicle. The kit includes two gears, spring pin and a modified nut used for pressing the shaft apart to install the new gears.
