I love Mother England and the United States of America. Both nations are so brilliantly reflected within McCartney's harmony between the Westminster Quarters and the Independence theme. So brings the reminiscence of the Yankee rebellion and the birth of a people for the government and vice versa. Magnificent. I do hope that both nations shall prosper for their creators if not for all else.

The 'War Of Independence' theme is right on. This song was a huge AM and FM hit during the American Bicentennial. 1976 - I remember seeing bumpers for 'Wings Over America' on TV.

I've often thought that July 4 should be a holiday for both the US and the UK. You Brits can come over here and we'll show you how to BBQ properly, and we can come over there and you can show us how to drink properly. Sounds like win/win to me...
