  • This guy constantly smiling is SO FUCKING IRRITATING

  • By the way, the very expensive pre shave oil they sell can be substituted with mineral oil. You can send 22 dollars on a small bottle or 2 dollars on a big bottle of mineral oil that does the same job.

The Art of Shaving store is simply a bunch of uneducated barbers, aggressive sales people and overpriced products.

  • @ku42 Hey, Thanks for the reply. I think that i would only use that if for instance i needed that closeness for a special occasion... normall i have to use a facial dipilitory. you dont get the closest shave but it works for every day.. i'm still going to buy a new set up and keep it just incase... thanks for the tips.

  • @gewglesux Yes it does give you a "close" shave because the razor is really sharp. You don't really need the shaving brush but if you want to keep "The Art of Shaving" go for it ;D

  • @ku42

i've always said the same thing.. it is expensive but like you said it does work. I think i'd like to try one of thse old fashioned razors they are suypposed to give a great shave. i'm sure there is also somthing to the badger hair brush too..

  • @gewglesux All of their stuff is overpriced but it works. I get pre shave oil, and shaving cream from another brand because this stuff is wayy to overpriced but it really works i guess. Their after shave balm is the most important because the smell stays on and the rest have no reason to smell! I use proraso and shaving soap don't forget about the safety razor it is a must have.

  • @ku42 yeah thats what i heard.... oh well... i've tried their stuff and it does work... but if i use any kind of razor i gets bumps- but you cannot beat the close shave you get.bumps or not..

  • @gewglesux yep

  • Awesome stuff, works great.

  • did this company sell out to gilette?

  • @mordsgaudimachen those safety razors are supposed to be better than the rest.. I have never used one How do they work? do they get the job done?

  • I'm going back to using these products yes they are expensive, but at 46 i have smooth skin and like most black guys i dont have razor bumps.. I admit that i do groom and my GF likes it.
