This Southern Brown Bandicoot (Isoodon obesulus), a native marsupial of Australia about the size of a half-grown cat, is quietly foraging on the summit of Mount Lofty near Adelaide in South Australia when it suddenly bolts for cover. They can move very fast when they want to. Filmed 31st March 2009; video length 15 seconds.
