This is a video response to danielearwicker's video "Half a person". It's not really meant as a standalone video, but to show how I play this tune in standard tuning without capo. If you want to know the chords, they are basically:

verse: Gmaj7, E, Gmaj7, E, Bm, A, G, E, A

bridge: F#, G, D, A, F#, G, Gsus4

chorus: D, A, F#, Bm, G, D, A, F#m, F#

  • to sing it, i prefer this one, but daniel´s version its much more, "professional"

Though your version its mora similar to the smiths one

  • Thanks. I think it can be improved a lot. And actually I would play it a little differently now.

  • same guy from last post, forgot to ask you if guitar is in standard tuning, thks again

  • Yes, I play this in standard tuning, although Marr probably played the original version with capo on 2nd fret (as in daniel's version). I've listed the chords in the video description. First chord is a Gmaj7. I think now that the A chord in the chorus sounds much better barred at 5th fret instead of open. Just some minor detail. ;-)

  • weon la cagaste, la tocai muy la raja, ta como pa rockanrolearla tomando en el cerro a too chancho!!! TE FELICITO LOCO!! :D

  • @marrzipan He said that you are great, and play very nicely, and that he would really rock with this, while drinking on a hill (something that people commonly do around here). Oh, and he congratulates you for your video.
