The film is really about teenager's delusional, egocentric desire to die before they reach 30 and being "immortalized" in the same way Kurt Cobain and Jim Morrison are "immortalized" by pop culture. The most recent example would be Heath Ledger's portrayal of the Joker and the fact that he's remembered with film posters that are hanging in teenager's bedrooms across America. In this short film Satan represents death itself.
