He talks about living under a bridge, which he claimed happened when he got kicked out of the house and had to live under a nearby bridge. He expresses his feelings and emotions by saying "something in the way" - he thought everything was in the way every time he tried to feel better.

I didn't know this song even existed until one night quite some time ago i was reading comics and listening to the Nevermind album with my headphones on. I fell asleep sometime during the silence after the song "On a plane" and woke up when this started playing.

@fendergibson01 Um, no... he already did heroin before that. I don't think anyone here has done heroin, so you probebly don't know why... it has to do with how you grew up, how you dealt with life and stress, behavior patterns of using drugs to cope with everyday stress in life, and depression, a general unhappyness in life... I did heroin for 4 years... and I'm glad thats over.
