05 GT Magnaflow

Magnaflow mufflers were installed on the '05 Mustang GT. The '03 Mustang GT claims to also have Magnaflow plus high-flow cats. Why does the '03 GT sound so much more aggressive than mine?

I personally find that the previous body style mustangs sound louder and more agressive than the new ones.

I think you're right. Someone told me the difference was because of the new 3 valve per cylinder vs. the old 2 valve.

your out of your mind if you think they are louder, obviously you havent heared slp LM with LT & o/r x, Nascar loud, clowns any 2 or 4 valve exhaust set up in the loudness department.

Typically a car that has the mufflers at the end of the system, like the S197 cars, seem a little quieter.This is mainly because the exhaust doesn't have the extra length of tubing the tailpipes provide, to resonate the sound waves.

well i just got an 07 Gt and i got the magnaflows and i also have the JBA H-pipe and it sounds a little more agressive so try that and tell me what ya get out of it on AIM, my screen name is remix1021, but if it doesnt sound good to you, ill see ya some other shit that makes it sound good cuz a buddy of mine has a 07 and it sounds crazy
