Train 1:
Amtrak's train #22, the northbound 'Texas Eagle', is on time for its Joliet Union Station stop, where it unloads passengers before heading for Chicago. Unusually, Transition Sleeper #39043 is on the rear of the train. It is possible to see where the 'Superliner' lettering once was on this car.
Train 2:
On the former Santa Fe Chillicothe Sub, BNSF C44-9W #4756 and a Norfolk Southern visitor, SD60 #6558, lead a northbound autorack train.
Train 3:
Cabcar #8567 leads a departing Metra Rock Island District train past UD Tower, with MP36PH-3S #412 pushing.
Train 4:
BNSF Dash-9s, #4479 and ex-ATSF #609, lead a northbound mix of baretables and TOFC. My guess is that the containers were unloaded at Logistics Park, to the south, with the trailers staying on the train for transport to Willow Springs to be unloaded there.
Train 5:
Another inbound Metra train departs, cabcar #8572 leading, and F40PH #181, the 'Village of Schaumburg', pushing.
Train 6:
Two BNSF Dash-9s and a GEVO lead a southbound intermodal through the station and past a waiting manifest led by BNSF H1 C44-9W #1083
Train 7:
The southbound 'Texas Eagle', train #21, arrives on time at JUS, P42DC #47 leading. The fourth car has what's left of an ad-wrap from its service in California, and the last car (the diner) still wears its name-- 'Illinois'-- on the rear vestibule door.
~Thanks for watching!~
Oh... damn. 39043 was the last active Phase IV Superliner. Now they'll never return.
