Trees are biodegradable lady. They turn into compost. It's ok to throw them away. Don't pretend like you care about the less fortunate people...it's pretty apparent you don't care about people at all.

No need to be so cynical, you just need the season of spring in your heart. Its people that screw up christmas for others, keeping their hearts locked in winter. Just celebrate it the way you feel you should. If you dislike the christian theme, then celebrate Yule instead or both. Actually they are both synominous if you investigate solar myth or astrotheology - so it can work. :P

@spencerbrettoni Trees don't always just grow back if you cut them down. They also take years to be a decent oxygen producing tree again 'if' they do. We need oxygen and clean air a lot more than we need fat Americans over eating and dressing up trees they've killed. If Christmas was really about being with family you wouldn't need to buy a bunch of useless shit and waste trees which are vital to a healthy environment. That's short sighted.
