Religious interpretations of it are anything but. Read up on Phillip k. dick. He had a "interesting" experience that made him write three books about the nature of God. I suggest you read them. If you don't attain any useful perspective from them i guarantee at least you will be entertained..

@vincent4500 Yes all religious are made to mess with our heads. However the gospels of Christ and the Bible are truth. They tried to kill off every Christ follower and when they could not they created religions that were Bible based. It tells us in the Bible that Satan has no power but that of deception. The Truth is simple, Satan is god of this world. Christ came to free us from that slavery. Satan will throw every deception our way to assure that we don't come to that conclusion.
