Mickey was the consummate master songwriter. His music transcends genre and age. Hopefully, through avenues such as this, his music will be revealed to unsuspecting, but very lucky netsurfers who stumble in and discover what we already knew for so long: Mickey Newbury was a genius, and Oh, how he could sing.

To bigjack 940, I have the whole collection, and that song is on there. The problem is, I don't know how to post a song. I guess people of my generation are big dummies when it comes to this kind of stuff. I will ask one of my kids how to do it. I love that song too. (I am referring to Swiss Cottage Place). Where did you hear it? His family put all his songs together in a collection and I got it. Answer me if you want. my name is Fran. I am under my grown children's names.
