the point is all these "christians" who think they have to do a bunch of things to be good enough for yahweh. we will never be good enough, but He still loves us anyway. its not about religion or works- its about a relationship and letting Him work through us.

I think their whole mission with this series is not necessarily to get caught up in labels such as "christian" and "christ follower". I think the main message they are wanting to get across is that God isn't caught up in little details such as clothing, rules, etc. Of course, their way of promoting this message was setting aside an entire demographic of Bible believing Christians and laughing at their way of worshiping. But nevertheless....

The core idea of these videos is a little moot. Love Jesus however you wish. But they are funny :).

@PerfectAgent Your right...faith is self inspired.

youre thinking too much into it and over analyzing the message. the idea is that, you dont have to be a spectacular christian. God simply wants His children to follow Him and His son, recognizing the sacrifice He endured for us. No need to get crazy about it. Its not who's right or who is wrong. Its about following Jesus. Plain and simple.

Yes, praise Zeus, I mean Krishnah, err Thor, wait no, The Flying Spaghetti Monster? Screw it, Praise Allah. That's who we're talking about, right?

this whole "christ follower" verses "christian" thing is exactly the kind of posturing, political correctness bullshit you see in marketing and politics. it's always an attempt to refresh a tired product or to re-brand an idea that nobody likes, and it NEVER WORKS. it's like christians are either embarrassed of themselves, or have a divisive, holier-than-thou attitude towards other christians, and neither of those interpretations are attractive at all to non-believers like me. FAIL.

@perfectagent: They got you to post on this video. Looks like the "scare tactic" worked in the scheme of things.
Sooo... let me get this straight. If I choose to be a "Christian", I'm uptight, nerdy, caught up with rule upon rule and generally 'uncool'. However, if I choose to be a "Christ Follower", I'm relaxed, relevant and "nice".
I get it.
Why "Christ Follower"? Why not revert to calling it "The Way"? As they did before the word Christian took hold in Antioch?
Somehow, getting rid of a 2000 year old word is a task I'm not ready to do.

I'm sorry, I appreciate your concern for me, but fear tactics won't inspire faith.
