What future is there for NASA? NASA has been gutted. We have people in Congress like Sheila Jackson Lee who stated in public that we landed men on Mars.

Screw NASA if we want to get to mars in several years instead of 20 let the private sector do it it will save us time and money! We could honestly go right now if we wanted to we have the technology.

Our main goal should be a vessel that can take off under its own power and return to earth on its own. Creating a cost effective means of travelling into space instead of the huge amounts of fuel spent in solid and liquid fuel rockets.
