you are the only pianist on youtube who played this song ? ! Ö.ö

I guess people have commented on your piano playing enough.
So I'll just add:
I love the sound of your piano.

I don't see why people are bashing this so hard. Sure there is always room for improvement, but this happens to be a wonderful and excellent rendition of Shiro, Long Tails. This has always been a favorite of mine. I love your intensity and feeling. Quite frankly, I don't see any other people attempting to put time and effort into playing this song...Just saying. You're an ongoing inspiration to a learning pianist :) <3

It seems you have taken a darker, and more angry approach to this piece, as opposed to the original; which seemed to be a bit more heart-rending or depressing. You place far more energy into your version into your version. I mean you no offense, but if you were going for this "angry" tone, I commend you. Otherwise, I would advise you to slow it up a bit, and play a little more softly.

this was my fav show :DD i love this song
Your hands are good on piano. But your transposition of this piece is terrible. The beginning theme is ok with a minor scew up, but then you rush into the cadenza and miss the time on the right hand. You should also think of the harmonization simple; the bass line sounds like a tumult. In the end, this doesn't sound like Shiro Long Tail's. Don't be offended lad, but bare in mind that you "can" be better. Just imagine the whole orchestra as one instrument :)

I completely agree--and thanks for the honest feedback. This was one of the first (if not the first) piece I transcribed. Ahh, the olden days of arranging.
I really want to redo it, but time's always an issue.

@GermanSeabass Eh, I don't mean to belabor the point since you've made your stance clear, but being a pianist myself I think calling your transposition "terrible" is just uncalled for. It's rough in spots, could use some polishing, but on the whole I really do enjoy it. I do find it to be true to the spirit of the original piece, even if not the exact sound.
I recognize that this video is five years old, but still. It's a good rendition.

@KhazWolf Totally agreed. I started arranging music just about 5 years ago. This was either my first or second song that I wrote out. Glad you like it still!
Welcome to the "early year" :)
