Video demonstrating one level of gameplay in the TI-99/4A version of Ms. Pac-Man.

I've let the game put its best foot forward by starting the game at a higher level (Level 7). At the lower levels the game moves very slowly. It's still pretty slow on level 7.

Actual computer play. Not emulated.

  • Is is the PAL version?

  • It is nice to know the game will run stock. Is this game rare?

  • It's certainly uncommon, but I wouldn't call it rare.

  • Do you think it would run faster with 32 KB of RAM?

  • To my knowledge, the game isn't programmed to take advantage of expanded memory, and if it was, I'm not sure that would be something that would speed up the game.

  • That's actually not a bad looking port considerin the 2600 version.

  • @PlayingWithHistory Andsthinking about getting this... Wow. Even though there isn't, this should be level -1!

  • This and the first Pac-Man are REALLY impressive on the TI-99/4A. Thanks for posting this.

  • I played oregon trail on this system when I was 6... Good times!

  • This is a good looking game. This machine has some excellent arcade conversions tha tI didnt know about q*bert, for example

  • I had this one as a kid (heck, Mom and Dad may still have it in a box somewhere). One of the better games on the TI that we had. I just love the sound the food make as it goes dancing across the screen.
