Avatar Trailer Mash up Valslist

I saw AVATAR 3-D over Christmas break and to say I was moved is an understatement. Producer, James Cameron is brilliant and this theatrical creation is a masterpiece on many levels. A must-see.

While the emphasis on fight scenes in the movie trailer might cause some to dismiss it as another shoot em-up, the movies overall message about the interconnectedness of nature, and the moving relationship between protagonist Jake Sully and his Navi tribal love, beautiful Neytiri, reveals the depth of the story and the breadth of Cameron's imagination.

The day before I saw Avatar I had just been introduced to a young new singer-songwriter, Zach Heckendorf (age 16) whose tracks were continuously running through my head. All the way home from the theater I kept thinking that one of his songs, "One of Them" could literally be the soundtrack or theme song to this movie. It's uncanny how closely Zachs lyrics track to the film's story line - so much so that I felt compelled to share it. So here it is - Avatar Mash Up and Zach Heckendorf.
