On Sunday the 28th March, a ballast train ran to the engineering works at Abererch, to the east of Pwllheli. The train utilised DRS' 37608, and ten JJA 'Autoballaster' wagons, loaded to around 800 tons. The first clip shows the Type 3 getting to grips with it's train at Drawwell Street, shortly after leaving Sutton Bridge Junction. Next, we view the train powering away from Dovey Junction and through Abertafol. Finally, we view the blue 'tractor' powering away from Penrhyndeudraeth and attacking the 1 in 65 climb to Minffordd.
