Enjoy this action-packed video of rush-hour trains at Fairfield Station! From Metro-North to Amtrak, from loud horns to double-headers, and especially my favorite AEM-7, 901. Enjoy this video!

  • Why are the SB Amtraks going so slow? Did they just leave Penn or something?

  • They are going slow because there is only one available SB track and this is much farther north than Penn.

  • 0:56 looks similar to the asshat who tried telling me I couldn't tshoot video / take pictures of trains - despite having MTA police memos stating otherwise.

  • Well, the guy in yellow at 0:59 asked me what I was doing with my camera and gave me suspicious looks, but didn't throw me out.

  • So that SLE GP40 is still in use, even with the P40 purchases...

  • Oh yes. There are still lots of GP40s in use, mostly on rush hour trains.
