@conqueso62 He's still very much a wild bird--- he just needed help for a while. He responded to the warmth of my hands and perhaps my energy, and he knew he was being helped. Once he felt like flying, he left... and has probably visited the bird feeder but I doubt he'd decide to perch on my finger again. It's a very cool thing to be trusted in this way, by a wild creature-- and to help them return to the wild. If a bird ever hits your window, you can do the same for him!
