HOUSTON - In this video by the U.S. Coast Guard, a 25-foot response boat crew from Station Sabine safely rescues four stranded boaters off an oil rig, June 5, 2009. The four boaters safely swam to an oil rig after their 25-foot Sea Ray capsized approximately 20 miles off the coast of Sabine.   • Many of these Sea Ray boats are I/O powered and the boots are made of rubber that deteriorates and allows water in... that boot has sunk alot of boats.

  • The seas look pretty calm acutally, wonder why the boat capsized in the first place. Operator error perhaps?

    Would be interesting to know. Thanks for sharing.
