The narrator is in love with the beautiful prima donna named Lenore. But she is stolen away and dies in despair. The narrator, driven to grief, shuts himself away and is visited by a raven who taunts him mercilessly at her loss. Gradually, the narrator faces deep madness as a result of the raven's tormenting.
This is a rendition of the poem The Raven by Edgar Allan Poe. The band is Allan Parsons Project and the anime featured is Princess Tutu, with Tutu playing the role of Lenore and Mytho featured as the tormented narrator. The Raven should be fairly obvious.
