In America you don't get much for your taxes, and where i live you get nothing at all.

No roads , no humane health care, no decent educational system--nothing.

Its a pity you live in the USA, many countries in Europe have free higher education - even for people who live in countries where its not (as long as they are European Union citizens).

Where i live its free if you have half-decent grades, though for foreigner its something like 2000 euros per year.

My country is a horrible example of anything free (healthcare, education and anything like that) , but just look at the nordic countries...
