"Would you please... please stop talking Miley?" He looks at me with his beautiful grey-blue eyes. Those soft, light red lips curve into a smile. His white teeth are showing a bit. I want to feel those lips again. Its hard to stay away. But the reason we split up was, because i was going to fast. I tend to rush. To go full speed and sometimes that ends with a huge, ugly, disastrous crash. It did with Liam. He wanted us to be exclusive. Maybe I am still too much of a Kid inside to be in a relationship with him. But I could never let him go! It would break me... again.
He reaches out with his hand to touch mine. I cant just sit here. He´s so close. Close enough for me to hold.
"Miley, I love you too and I hope you know that! But I really want this to work! I want to be with you! You are nuts sometimes..."
I look at him with big eyes and raise one eyebrow. Really, only sometimes? I have the feeling i am a total jerk 24/7 when it comes to him!
"Okay, almost all the time.", he says. He chuckles. I get butterflies. The sound of his chuckle makes me smile.
"I am happy to see you smile. Your smile is amazingly beautiful to me Miley!"
Why... no! Argh! Do I seriously get tears in my eyes? You must be kidding! I smile a little, because I am happy that he even speaks to me. He gets to my heart! My Liam... I hope I can still call him that.
He squeezes my hand softly and smiles at me this smile that makes me weak in my knees. The butterfly freeing smile. The sorrow-lifting smile. I cant stand this anymore. I move closer to him. He stays calm and doesn't move. I guess that means he doesn't mind. I take a deep breathe and lean in to kiss him. Our lips are less than an inch apart, as he stops me and says. "Lets talk first. As much as i want to kiss you Miley... trust me, I really do... but i think we should talk first."
With a strange feeling in my chest, I lean back into the car seat and let out a loud sigh. He stopped me. I did everything wrong again! Great and now the tears start rolling down my cheeks. The best day in my life! Can it get any worse?
"Miles...", He says softly and brushes my cheek with his thumb. I get goose bumps. I havnt felt like this in a long time now. Its not a lie if I say that he´s my first real love after Nick.
"Please don't cry! Its just that once I kiss you I wont say a word. I know it. Because your kiss makes me forget everything. I swear once I´ve said everything I wont let you go!"
I smile a little smile. "I am sorry Liam!"
"Don't be!"
He tells me how he feels about me and our relationship. We talk for over an hour in my car. Honestly, I think i never had such a conversation with anyone before. The things he said to me got to my heart. I cried a few more times. But right after he made me smile again. He´s everything to me!
