I'm so pleased this proposition passed. The law takes effect in 2015. In the meantime, perhaps people will purchase their eggs and meat from family farms with humane conditions. Yes, you'll pay a little more, but you won't be giving money to factory farms which are inhumane. You voted with your hearts. Now "vote" with your pocketbook.

this act is a load of crap that can only raise food prices especially pork prices.
Fact swine are animals that establish dominance by fighting when you take them out of crates they are going to be put in group pens and fight to establish dominance and could in effect kill each other in the process so by voting yes on prop 2 you were hurting swine not helping them

This sickens me that this was passed yet a 12 year old girl can go get an abortion and her mom will never know about it, people in Cali need to get real.

We just slaughter them in the end and put them in our bellies!

If we're going to be cruel enough to eat them, I suggest we take every opportunity to make their lives a little tiny bit better, don't you? Especially when there is hardly a reason not to.
