@7paco First song I ever heard by Tom was "Shiny Things" and I immediately fell in love. I guess I'm one of those people that waited years before I could drink, and the first night, I got drunk with no hangover. I used to be a metal head until I heard Tom Waits. Now I'm disappointed by everything else because nothing else is as touching as his music.

I love this song, I was listening to it when I met my husband, and I wrote down the lyrics for him, three kids later and he still doesn't get it. I still listen to it once in a while, to listen to a great artist sing my own thoughts!
