Brother; I was born in Pakistan in 1954. My parents, however, migrated to Pakistan at the time of partition. We can debate about the merits and demerits of partition and can remain equally divided. Key to the future is to live in peace, trade and prosper and someday may have our own Union/Confederation like EU. We should look into that possibility and work toward it. No more wars and waste of large amounts of money for defense by buying antiquated surplus armaments from the west.

It is sad that we still cling to the history that divided us. The times have changed and somehow we have to find a way to be more sensible about what is needed at present than what happened at a time when we were either not born or were too young to understand anything.
