@gidsum29 my lancer has a twin clutch, if neutral drop it says cool down transmission, puts a rev limiter on lower.....wont let me past 4500rpm when i launch

@wasp010 Another 75h.power and it would kill everything.I drive an 07 z06 and off the line the gtr is a killer,just a heavy car that needs a little top end boost.

@skillz1855 I own a stock z06 and on the street the gtr is deadly .It hooks up like mad and just goes.On a track with sticky compound the z06 has the advantage .As far as the trannys being garbage thats bullshit ,its the way people abused them.The 2010 and later gtr s have no issues.It is a very complete performance car dont be so quick to diss it.

@gidsum29 Please, more excuses. let it cool down, any other instructions on driving this car, the tranny is garbage and for this car to pull a 11.27 at 122 is a complete fail, a stock Z-06 ides high 10's at 128/129 and the one that do mid 11's go thru at 124/125, w/o modds

they go thru the trap quick but the mph #'s are so low compared to other cars runnin the same times,like Z-06's etc

This car must be near stock if it ran an 11.27s. I was reading a Car and Driver made and they got a time of 11.5s.
And why drive it on a drag strip anyways? This car handles like a dream. The drag strip is for fat American cars that cant turn.

That is NOT true. The transmissions are fine, "supposedly" there have been some isolated incidents of people not letting the launch control feature cool down beween runs and also not properly breaking-in the transaxle. This is considered ABUSE not USE. As with any duel clutch system...it needs time to cool(as indicated by a blinking red light on the dash)..This rumor has been spread(exaggerated) by GM fanboys that are trying to discredit the GT-R as an engineering marvel.
