It is one of the best renditions I've heard. He made so many octave changes leading to the climax! I'm not sure if he is still living or not, but I'm sure he brought a lot of joy not only with his voice, but also w/his Gomer Pyle character.

Hiya, I've always loved the way Jim sang. To me, when he sings any kind of song, he puts a lot of emotion in the song he sings.
