The sheer fact that the Saab 9-3 is even considered a "racing" car says a lot about the car itslef. It's amazing. It's the first car(not trucks im a tacoma guy) that I felt as if the maker wanted me to be happy.
It's just a joy to drive, maintain, modify, show off, everything. Love it....

@dasabrokedub um actualy not nessesarily........ if you take the same displacement engine and fit a turbo on to it you're gunna be putting out more exhaust through the pipe. In the hoda's case, that proly had a race pipe exhaust so it was loud for that reason... not nessesarily only because it was NA....
i know what you mean though you're right......
i was just making a comparison of the two different charactoristics.

@Howie262 turbo engines are naturally more quite than n/a engines...that's why the honda is much louder...people don't have to point that out because most of them already know.

another funny thing no one really pointed out is........
that clearly the saab took off before the civic and it was litterally completely silent....
did anyone hear the saab's engine??
i didnt, the civics mo-ped sounding engine completely masked it.
Which i think is funny because the saab was working at full compasity without being loud and obnoxious, where as the civic was loud and obnoxious and lost the race.....
Saab= Charactor, refinement, and class.

Hmm... was that a bov I heard on the Civic? The Civic weighing at least 600 pounds less than the Saab? The Civic had everything to make that a fair fight, but in the end the Saab one? It is a fair comparison and I am happy the Saab beat the Civic. Yeah Saab!
