'WHAT IF? ...'
What if nobody talked about war? Would
that mean a soldier didn't die, come home
broken in body and mind?
It'd be too easy to forget.
You say the battle is over? Never! It will
never be until the parting shot of breath
over the bow of life:
to honor those who serve(d).
To remember sacrifice, paid.
To keep promises, made.
We owe them this much:
THANK YOU, VETERANS.

Those who serve(d) our Nation deserve nothing but the best. My duty, as it were, is to carry on the tradition of thanking them each and every day. Soldiers don't stop dying because we don't want to talk about war ... thank you for the stars. Appreciate you watching and commenting, Becky and Puggy - who gives 100 licks, right?
