10 - Wasteland

Neutron Bombs and nuclear fallout have rendered Earth a dead planet. There is nothing left anymore except a lifeless wasteland. Without a clear goal or pupose, the machines can no longer find meaning in anything.

Slow, desolate and empty, this song is heavily influenced by "Roads" - Portishead. It's even got a similar Wurly Piano type sound. You'll notice that these sounds are more organic than the usual heavily processed synths that represent the robots. Perhaps it is only after this greatest tragedy and mass genocide, that the machines begin to find their own humanity.
