  • Oh my my Joe Hendersons work is so beautifu herel i too can hardly breathe......somebody come he(l)p me!

  • this ron carter dejohnette thing hurts. the swing is too powerful

  • Thanks! One of my favorite Joe Henderson pieces. The melodic statement is so cool and laid back it puts you at ease. Then Joe comes in with one of those solos of his that has so much intensity it leaves you breathless. His first solo bridges into a piano break that sets the stage for his second solo which starts with his signature chromatic runs. I was and am amazed. Helluva piece!

  • @ponylin1985 try a listen to coltrane's version!

  • JOE HENDERSON IS THE BEST JAZZ ARRANGER EVER
