Destroyed? Clough was a pillock who liked the sound of his own voice.

Cloughie is what people should aspire to be and break out of these decades of sheep syndrome.
Honesty and not taking fools... politicians and management tympanum's... bloody revolt against them (the horrible little bastards need us to keep their jobs) Sack the lot of them and put them in cleaning jobs and make them work up.
Without the hands on worker they are f-all. Cloughie had his values and they were the right one's.

hopefully soon motto , sorry motty will be gone , closet chelsea fan , but really a barnet follower .

@stzzla Hahaahahha!!! You come across as a little shit, so why not team up with Cloughie in the Afterlife , together, you and him would look like one giant dinosaur poo. I couldn't give a damn what u think u idiot, the fact is , Motson didn't put a foot wrong- always trying to be the diplomatic gentleman that he is, whereas BIG HEAD Clough, was being his usual , over bearing , bullying twat. of a poofta!
Yer just a gimpyfish Notts Forestt fan who's been hurt by me, hahahhahaaa. Good, u schmuck.
I met Clough when I was about 6, he told me to: 'Get on that pitch, you're better than any of them!'
I said back to him:
'I don't really like football.'
I had no idea that he was such a renowned figure :P

What Clough says about TV pundits in general, and their treatment of referees in particular, is just as relevant today. What a shame there seems to be no manager around today who can go on TV and produce such brilliant analysis and express it so clearly and wittily - I love the aside about Bob Wilson having been a teacher! He and Peter Taylor are sadly missed. Thank you for posting this wonderful clip.
