@electronicballast it is used for alot of techno type beats but for someone into hip hop, dubstep and whatnot i feel like it is definitely something i want to make beats on....

Keep TAP/BPM and LOOP REC/PLAY pressed when turning on the Kaossilator. Then set loop length to 16.

i dont really understand the scale button with 4th and 5th and all them.. what are they exactly?

the selected scale defines which notes are played, when touching the pad. 5th means only the root tone and the 5th tone are played (e.g. C + G).

Scale sets, which notes are played by hitting the touchpad. 5th means only the rootnote and the 5th note are played.
