Serial killers should be spared, they CANNOT help what they do because its a product of their upbringing or their psychological. They are no more responsible than a person is for slipping on the bathroom floor. Let them sit in jail for while and think about it. THEN if they have shown restraint over time, let them assimilate back into normal society.

Serial killers are treated the same as anyone else who has commited such a horrific crime, anyone who has commited murder or homocide deserve the death penalty, there's no two ways about it.
